Have enjoyed reading your blog. I have a question…where is Wakefield? I have a group of knitting friends and we have gone on a knitting retreat for many, many years. We too get together and carefully plan out our meals and prepare projects so that they’re at a good stage to hunker down and get busy when we arrive at our destination. The prep just lets us extend our knitting thoughts a bit longer than just the planned for time away! Loved your pictures and your excitement!
Hi Cheryl, I’m glad you enjoy the blog. Wakefield is north of Ottawa in Quebec. It is a lovely quaint and quirky village nestled in the Gatineau hills, on the gorgeous Gatineau River.
